A significant level of support is available to social economy organisations in Glasgow. 


Business Gateway

Business Gateway provides practical help, advice and support for new and growing businesses in Scotland.

CEiS

CEiS provides a range of independent and professional business support services for social and community enterprises. They are committed to building the capacity of local communities and community organisations and to deliver a range of innovative regeneration and development services.

CEMVO Scotland

CEMVO Scotland was set up in April 2003, with the aim of building the capacity of the country's minority ethnic voluntary and community sector. Their wide-ranging work reflects the diverse needs of the groups it serves, varying from socio-economic regeneration, life-long learning, community participation and representation to organisational development, policy and research.

Community Recycling Network for Scotland  (CRNS)
The CRNS is a membership body for community recycling organisations throughout Scotland. They provide information, advice and support to both existing and emerging community recyclers.

Development Trust Association Scotland
(DTA)
DTA is the national body for development trusts in Scotland. Development trusts offer a fresh approach to community regeneration.
Through enterprise and the ownership of local assets, development trusts address the economic, social, cultural and environmental needs of their communities

Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS)

GCVS is the main development agency and advocate for voluntary and community organisations in Glasgow. GCVS works alongside community and voluntary organisations to help them be best equipped for their service users and wider community.

Glasgow's Local Regeneration Agencies
Local Regeneration Agencies (LRA) provide a range of services from employment and training to business support for individuals and companies.
The programmes delivered by LRAs are tailored to the local economic situation in Glasgow's most disadvantaged areas, playing an integral part in the regeneration and physical development of their area.


Glasgow Social Care Providers Forum 

Glasgow Social Care Providers Forum (GSCPF) is an innovative network of social care provider organisations delivering services across Glasgow. It strives to build a strong provider community, where common issues can be raised, debated and represented.

Scottish Community Development Centre
The Scottish Community Development Centre is the designated National Development Centre for community development in Scotland.

Transformation Team (Faith in Community Scotland)
The Transformation Team works across denominations and faiths to establish or continue good practice initiatives within faith communities. They also accompany and facilitate them as they become more active or involved in local community planning and regeneration

Volunteer Centre Glasgow
The principle aim of The Volunteer Centre is to improve the quality of life for the people of Glasgow by offering opportunities to use and enhance their skills in volunteering, training and personal development.

West & Central Voluntary Sector Network (WCAVSN)
WCAVSN is a member organisation of small and medium voluntary sector providers in the West area of Glasgow.
